Nationally known Los Angeles Plastic Surgeon to Lecture at California Society of Plastic Surgeons Annual Meeting
Dr. Geoffrey R. Keyes will discuss rhinoplasty and patient safety
LOS ANGELES, CA, May 22—Dr. Geoffrey R. Keyes, MD, FACS will lecture on two panels during the California Society of Plastic Surgeons 63rd annual meeting, which will take place in San Francisco from May 24 to May 27. The first panel is titled “Staying Out of Trouble.” Dr. Keyes will discuss pertinent details of patient safety using the latest evidence-based techniques. The second panel is called “Secondary Rhinoplasty: Lesson Learned AKA “Why Did I Ever Take This Case On!?!”. This lecture draws on Dr. Keyes’ 33 years of experience performing nasal reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Keyes is a sought after expert in both patient safety and rhinoplasty.
In April, he presented at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery annual meeting at the Rhinoplasty Symposium: Comprehensive Approach to Rhinoplasty in New York City.
In October, he was elected the President of the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), which is the nation’s largest accrediting organization for outpatient office based surgical facilities. AAAASF accreditation is widely considered the “gold standard” in regards to patient safety.

In addition, Dr. Keyes has published and lectured internationally regarding the latest rhinoplasty techniques. He has ben featured on high profile television programs such as Dateline, Good Morning America, and Fox News.
Dr. Keyes holds two board certifications: The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is the past president of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Aesthetic Society Education and Research Foundation (ASERF). Currently, he is president of the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons and Secretary of The Rhinoplasty Society.
Dr. Keyes is a graduate of the Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine. He interned at Barnes Hospital-Washington University (St. Louis, Missouri). He served in two residency-training programs at the University of Illinois Medical Center (Chicago, Illinois).
